BSA Hornet

.22 caliber, surprisingly accurate, good trigger.  Typically, 30+ shots with an extreme velocity spread of less than 30fps (a 10fps extreme spread on 30+ shots is not uncommon) on a 232 bar fill.

It is a bit heavy for carrying much and standing, offhand shots, but truly superb from bench, sitting, kneeling, or prone positions; 10 lb 5 oz as pictured with scope & rings and 8 lb 10 oz without.  Because of the weight (heavier unscoped than most other rifles with scope) it has gone on to a new home.
